International Europe Dinghy

In 2021 Synergy Marine started development of its new David Hollom designed, International Europe sailing dinghy. The prototype hull made its public debut at the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show in Farnborough in February 2022.

Production of Synergy Marine International Europe's has been gathering pace in 2023 and we now have boats in the UK and abroad. Reviews from the first sailors have been extremely positive. As is always the case the boats are continuously refined and some minor modifications to the Allen fitout have taken place over the last year.

In terms of hull shape, we commissioned renowned designer, David Hollom was given a blank canvas to produce a new design. We had no preconceived ideas on what makes a good Europe didn't consider copying or modifying older Europe designs. David's design CV is simply exceptional with boats from the size of International Moths, International OK's and International 5.5 metre's winning multiple World Championships. The design is computer designed to have the maximum possible waterline length and be as low drag as is possible within the class rules. The boats are already proving to be exceptionally fast both upwind and downwind. This design will be winning many races!

Synergy Marine has a reputation for building World Championship winning, high quality and visually stunning boats. We have used our many years of experience withing the composites industry to build a light and stiff hull using high quality materials.

In terms of the fit out we looked at the traditional Europe fit outs and knew that there were many areas where we could improve the boats. We have brought a number of Finn and OK Dinghy innovations into the class. Allen fittings are used as standard for their exceptional quality as they the best available for a boat such as the International Europe. Where a fitting does not exist to perform the task we want we produce our own 3D printed parts, such as the mast gate and mast step. The Synergy Marine International Europe is a highly refined boat.
